My Testimony
My story is one that was full of bitterness and resentment, but through the grace of God, He has now turned that into forgiveness and personal growth.
Before I started my relationship with God, at a young age I struggled with bitterness and resentment for a long time.
There were two men before my dad that filled in the “father figure” role and both had hurt my family and myself, both in their words and actions. This had a deep, lasting impact on me and it wasn’t until my dad, Gilbert, had entered our lives that a slow healing process had begun.
Through constant prayer and teaching by my father for 7 years, I started my relationship with God.
Now that I have a relationship with God, I am free from a past of hurt and anger, and now can look on with forgiveness, which has only been possible with God’s help.
Now, I have a more personal and stronger relationship with God.
But the best thing of all, is that I know I’ll be with God forever.
