My Testimony

I am glad that I have eternal life in Jesus Christ because it means that I am loved by God and it means that my sins are forgiven through the death and resurrection of Jesus.

I can remember feeling like the sin in my life was not forgivable. I had begun a relationship with God when I was 6 years old, but I did not understand how forgiven I actually was. When I was six years old I realized that I was a sinner, that Jesus died for my sins and that by putting my faith in Him I could have eternal life. Then when I graduated highschool and went off to college, I allowed the sins in my life to keep me from seeking after God. I remember coming to the realization that I needed to seek him. When I actually began to spend time with him and spend time in his Word, I began to realize how big his grace was and how forgiven I was. I'm thankful that God did not give up on me.

The grace that God gave me when I was six years old, that he reminded me of when I was in college, is what keeps me living for Him ever day. I now aim to make Jesus the center of every part of my life so that I can bring Him glory in everything I do.
