My Testimony
Disappointment and regrets can lead you, as it did myself, to fulfillment.
Before receiving eternal life, there was a lot of anxiety, disappointment and regrets from decisions that were made in my life.
After getting married, having a child, a stable job that I enjoyed, I still felt I was looking for something to fulfill me. There were so many great things but, the emptiness was there as well.
After regularly attending church and joining a small group, on July 7, 2013, I made the decision to give my life to the Lord and make him my #1.
Since being saved and knowing I have eternal life, I look at what I viewed at one time as my regrets and disappointments as only a stepping stone to where I am now.
I know the Lord is beside me, leading me at all times, especially when I do not make the best decisions. He is constantly shaping me into a better Christian and allowing me to see life much differently, in the good and bad times.
Even with all of the sins, regrets and disappointment in my lifetime, I know if I were to die tonight, I would wake up rejoicing with the Lord in his kingdom.
