My Testimony
My salvation has been confirmed to me through Christ's innate ability and desire to bring me closer to him and his kingdom. It is his plan that I complete his mission and then come to live with him for eternity. His grace and faithfulness are never-ending and this has been shown to me throughout my life.
I have learned that even in my imperfect and undeserving self, God's promise and faithfulness to me always prevails.
As a child, I was raised in a Christian home and very well protected from the secular world. When I got into high school, I decided to pull away and join that lifestyle. I struggled with lying and creating drama and found myself losing contact with any "real" friends that I had. Because of my lifestyle, they did not want to associate with me, however, Christ continued to work through them to pray for me and eventually reach out to me and bring me back to him. I learned that because I am his child, there is nothing I can do to permanently separate me from him. His grace and forgiveness always overwhelms me.
I have learned that if God is willing to fight for me and give me reason to believe in him and trust him, why would he do that if it was not his goal for me to share eternity with him. Just as we want to spend eternity with our own children, I have to remember that he feels the same for me.
