My Testimony

Before I had a relationship with Jesus I was lost in shame of my sin, Overwhelmed by life, and unforgiving.

I knew about God and Jesus, but had no idea what a relationship with Him was about. So I began truly seeking what was empty in me, so I could be a better husband, son, brother, and friend.

Then Brother Jerry Parker and other guided me in my search. He helped me through God's Word to see that my past sin is forgiven because of Gods perfect sacrifice, Jesus. Forgiven and wiped away, so the burden of my past should be laid down. All God desires from us is belief and faith in the promise that is Jesus Christ.

After accepting His love, it was easier to love others. After accepting His forgiveness ,it is easier to forgive others. Although life still has its stresses and disappointments, I am not bound by those circumstances. I am a better husband, son, brother, and by no fault of my own a better person.

We recently moved here. Twenty three hours away from any family. Every step provided by Him.

He has obviously been working in my life even before I made my profession of Faith. He has made it easier to deny temptation. He has strengthened and mended relationships in my life. I know that I could not have done these things without Him. He is faithful in His promises. His conversation with me through His Word, the Bible, I know he has saved me.
