My Testimony

I'm glad I have eternal life because I know God loves me and when I am in the valley's of life I know he walks by my side and holds my hand.

I remember a time when I felt like my world was crashing in around me. Everything that I hoped and worked for was falling apart. I had always dreamed of being a nurse and had never thought about doing anything else. I was in my second semester of nursing school and I was failing. I became discouraged and lost hope until one Sunday I heard a testimony about prayer. I realized that I was praying to God about this situation but was not fully believing and leaning on him to help. I was trying to figure how to solve this problem myself. Before my final test I prayed and truly believed that God was going to take care of me and he was going to hold my hand and help me. The worry and fear left me at that moment. I was able to pass my test and that semester of nursing school. From then on I kept a verse in my heart Isaiah 41:13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not: I will help thee.

That same feeling of peace that I received after praying and letting God take control is the same peace that I have in knowing that I will live forever in Eternity with God.
