My testimony
Jesus will save you as soon as you ask - but it's your responsibility to ask.
I know with complete certainty when I die, I will spend eternity in Heaven with Jesus because He took my place on the cross.
I grew up being involved in church. My mother told me I was saved when I was about 4 or 5 years old. I know that I always believed in Jesus, but one night during youth group while worship was happening, I couldn't sing. I was overwhelmingly convicted. The sermon that night was about owning your salvation - relying on Jesus, not what your parents told you about Him. I committed my life to Him, making Him not just my Savior, but my Lord. I had so much peace and joy as soon as I asked Him to save me!
I know that because I asked Jesus to save me from my sin, He did.
