My Testimony

Before I received eternal life I was extremely self centered. I didn't care about other people and mostly used them to accomplish my own agenda. I put my self worth in good grades and sports.

When I got to Hopkins I wasn't the best basketball player on the court anymore and I was defiantly not the smartest in the classroom. I became extremely depressed. Everything I had idolized was letting me down.

I started going to a Christian fellowship church instead of Catholic church. I began to realize that my self worth was not in my accomplishments or how good I was. I began to realize that Jesus dies so that I didn't have to keep trying to save myself. Then I attend a retreat with a bunch of other Christians. One night we were having what we called a "Jam Session" where we all played instruments and were singing worship songs. I had never felt so close to God in all of my life. Right then and there I gave my life to Christ.

now I no longer live a life of striving for perfection. Gods grace is sufficient for me. He loves me just as I am.

Now I no longer have to worry about my future. I know that God is in complete control. The minute I stopped searching for a husband God gave me Andy.

I know that God is with me always Mathew 28:20. I know that I have all that need because of Him and I am made perfect through Christ.
