My testimony

Before I received Christ in my life I felt no real purpose and no real direction.

My last 2 years of of college I started to wonder what I should do after college. Then once I graduated I lost the shelter that college provided and I had to go and find a job, pay bills, and move on. Still I didn't feel a sense of purpose or a direction that I should go. Until my co-worker started sharing about God. When I was at my lowest he gave me a profound statement; "Your life isn't going to get any better until you get right with God." Man was he right. My life changed dramatically.

I broke down one day after work. I knelt down in my living room and prayed for God to live in my heart and change me. I started reading the Bible and going to church.

I felt like I had a purpose and a direction, I started making better choices.

Before I accepted Christ into my life my roommate left and I couldn't pay the bills. The electricity and phone were going to be cut off. I feel that God was breaking me down and working to get my attention. The week after I accepted Christ my whole world changed. I was able to sublet the apartment and cancel the utilities. My old roommate called and sent me a check for what he owed me. 2 months latter I convinced the girl of my dreams to go on a date with me.

I know for certain that God has a plan for me and continues to guide my decisions. He provides for me everyday.
