My testimony of answered prayer.
My story is of answered prayer that was far better that I could ever imagine. It was a prayer that was answered over time in a way that I never expected.
Knowing that I having eternal life in spite of my faults brings me comfort. Seeing God’s hand in my life brings me security.
Growing up my family moved many times, as a result of my father's work. I was following the same path. I envied people who never moved from their home town. My prayer was to plant roots and not move every two years. We were living in the Denver area and hoped to stay there. God had other plans. We moved to Oklahoma where my prayer was answered. We have lived in the same house for almost 30 years.
Looking back I can clearly see God's hand in guiding me to where I am today. Not only have I planted roots, but my children have grown up in the same house for most of their lives. They now live within walking distance. It is comforting to be able to look back and see how God’s plan has unfolded in my life.
