My Testimony
I learned about the gospel at a young age, was saved, eventually baptized, and then my father left me, God brought me through this time, by reminding me He would never leave or forsake me, and I continue to try and live my Life for Him
I have security, that God loves me, and though I make mistakes, God will always welcome me back and He will never leave or forsake me. I grew up in a Christian household, where I was blessed to learn the gospel at a young age, I realized I was a sinner and accepted a Jesus as my Lord and Savior, through the years I grew in the faith, and I was baptized when I was 10, it wasn’t long after I would go through one of the most difficult times of my life
My Dad left my family 7 years ago, He would still come around from time to time for a few years, then my parents got divorced 4 years ago, before my dad completely exited my life within the next year. Throughout that time I had many feelings of abandonment and sorrow, but God brought me through it, and I cling to the reminder that He will never leave or forsake me no matter what I do
I carry this Security throughout my everyday life, and I strive to live for Christ and grow closer to God. Not to earn my Salvation, because He’s already given me that eternal security, but to further his kingdom, so more can have this security
