My Testimony

I am glad i have eternal life because it gives me peace knowing that I’m not alone and that I have hope beyond this life.

Right after I graduated high school, I went through a period of getting a lot of weird symptoms including unintentional weight loss, extreme fatigue, hair loss, constant nausea, loss of appetite, other things. All of these symptoms led me to be diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called lupus nephritis. Though chronic and unfortunate, I remember experiencing an immense sense of peace throughout the whole process of trying to figure out what was wrong. It was the sort of peace that surpasses your understanding , where you knew you were being watched over and where you knew everything was going to be okay. Once my condition was addressed and I became more stable, I remember being very grateful for God’s healing and thinking back to that peace, knowing it was also from God. Knowing that whatever happens I would be okay truly settled my heart in that time.

I know i’m going to heaven and have eternal life because God has opened up my eyes of understanding and given me new desires to want to follow Him.
