My Testimony

I’m so glad that I know God and that he is in my life. While I can’t remember a time where I didn’t know him I can easily pin point a time I wasn’t in him. But since I found him again I have been covered by peace, hope and love. Love from my mom and sister but , most importantly from God. I have been empowered to face my fears and trust his plan for my life.

A couple years ago Covid happened and the my whole world came crashing down. I’ve always not had many friends and been by myself so isolation wasn’t really the issue. It was the fact that I was in school online and also surrounded by a toxic household. Not many know that I struggle with mental health issues. Yet this year it really was harder to deal with, I was constantly consumed by anxiety and depression. For the first time my depression had hit an all time low and I felt life life wasn’t worth living anymore so I had a mental plan to just go away , if you catch my drift… Well as I continue to think about it I heard a voice , a voice that made it clear that he still needed me in this earth. I wasn’t sure why but I believed him . I hadn’t picked up my Bible up in months but I did and I just prayed and cried out to God to save me and help me . While this was not an instant switch flip I did feel lighter like I had peace for thr very first time . That I wasn’t alone anymore.

The same God that gave me this peace that surpasses all understanding , can give it to you. He can pull you out of that hole that is full of darkness and bring you into everlasting light.
