My Testimony
After years of self doubt and anxiety, I finally felt freedom when God released me from those things and reminded me of His everlasting love.
Before I received eternal life I suffered with low self esteem.
All I could think of was how I’m either not enough, or too much. I would hold myself to an unrealistic expectation of perfection and blame myself even for other people’s mistakes. I always looked at myself in a negative light—even when someone would compliment me I wasn’t able to believe it.
Then I was able to receive eternal life through Victory Life Church.
Now that I have eternal life, I no longer have low self esteem.
One day I was sitting in a sermon and the Word of God pierced my heart and completely transformed the way I viewed myself. I realized my identity wasn’t based on how I performed, but rather on what Jesus did for us.
No matter what struggles I may face, I know I can have peace knowing that if I were to die right now, I know for sure that I would be in heaven with God.
