My Testimony
From suicide to salvation.
My days before God were dark.
I had indulged myself with alcohol, a toxic relationship and I was so far away from God. It wasn’t always like that, in high school I attended church whenever the doors were open. But I got side-tracked. The enemy presented himself in the form of a relationship, that relationship broke, and I was at ends meet. One night I attempted to take my life. A friend called paramedics and I ended up in the hospital for two weeks. Life without God is scary, but just because you think he’s gone doesn’t mean he is.
Then Jesus stepped in.
Getting out of the hospital, I went to live with my mom again with one ultimatum… church attendance.
I started going back and hanging out with my old friends again. One Sunday our pastor was preaching on salvation and just HOW much Jesus loves us. I rededicated my life to him and a week later stood out in my faith and got baptized. Jesus really came in and wrecked my life in the best ways possible. A couple months later, I met my wife. She is the most God-fearing, selfless person I know. Without God’s hand on me, I would have missed the best part of my life. A little word of advice: no matter where you are in life; on the edge of a breakdown, lost, or even on the brink of attempting suicide, God is there with you and he will never let you go. He loves you more than you will ever know or understand.
Isaiah 54:17: No weapon formed against you shall prosper.
