My Testimony

I came to know Christ as a child. I recognized I was a sinner and could not get to Heaven on my own. Knowing that I have eternal life provides comfort, joy, hope and peace! I know that I have so much more to look forward to and that this life, with it's disappointments, and stressors, is just temporary.

As I grew in to adulthood I strayed from Christ. I lost my mother as a teenager and at 21 was faced with being a single mother. This period of my life was extremely difficult as I had a father who was a minister. I questioned my salvation and struggled with what other people thought. How could I possibly be going to Heaven when I knew the sins I committed were wrong. I came to rededicate my life to Christ after this and found such peace and contentment in knowing that He died for all my sins. That none are greater than the others and that I have eternal life no matter what. Salvation can't be lost once you have it even if you fall into sin which often happens when you receive salvation at a young age. This is God's grace.

I know that I am a Child of God and that I will have eternal life with Him when I die. I trust what He tells me in His word, the Bible. He has given me peace and continues to remind me daily that I have a place with Him in Heaven. I am reminded of His Grace all around me and that He has made a way for me!
