My Testimony

Before I received eternal life I had bitterness and resentment.

I remember telling my friends and family not to talk to me about Christianity or invite me to church

I accepted Jesus as my lord and savior and received eternal life.

Then I discovered that being a Christian is my own relationship with God. That even if I was hurt by the words or actions of other Christians that it as not a depiction of God,his love,his mercy, his grace, the salvation through Jesus Christ and my relationship with him. I was able to forgive those the hurt me and stop feeling bitter and resentful because of thier actions towards me.

My sister who is a Christian acted in such a way that was very hurtful towards myself and my husband's finances and living situation. I have been able to forgive her and release bitterness and resentment. Although she is a Christian I understood that we all sin however that was not hurtful to my relationship with Jesus/God that I am able to extend mercy since I was extended mercy and that my faith is not affected by her actions.

I know that God extended his mercy and grace unto Mr therefore I am able to extend unto others and not have bitterness in my heart.
