My Testimony

Before Christ I was angry at a lot different things and I a short temper. I also had a low self-esteem and strived to get attention from others.

I did not grow up in a Christian home. My parents were always arguing, I always had issues with my siblings and I did not have the best relationship with my dad. We were broken. I remember in 8th grade, my dad made the decision to start going to church as a family. Although we were going to church, we still had the same issues.

After awhile I got plugged into the youth group at the church I was attending. Summer came along and I got to go to church camp. Here, on the second day, I understood how much God loves me although the issues I had and that night at church camp I surrendered to Him and put my hope in Him.

I came home after the week of church camp and I no longer felt angry, I felt joy. As I was growing in the Lord my dad saw the difference in me and two months later he put his trust in the Lord. And then he led my family to the Lord.

Now, I serve the Lord and when face hard times I can have joy because of the assurance I have in God.

Better yet, I have the assurance that when I die, I get to spend eternity with God because I surrendered my life to Him. God loves us so much He sent His one and only Son to die for us. Scripture says that if you surrender your life to Him and confess Jesus as savior and Lord you can have life eternal having a relationship with God.
