My testimony About Finding God and Being Gifted a Place in His Heaven
I feel assured of my place in Heaven, because of His love no matter what I think or feel; because He saved me and made me feel peace when I was afraid and I now feel confident daily that I will be with Him in Heaven when I die and spend my eternity there.
I am so happy that I have eternal life, because I know without a doubt that God loves and accepts me, even when I don't think and feel accepted or loved by others.
I remember when I moved from Michigan to North Carolina and went to a new high school, which brought so much fear and anxiety that made me feel like it was always there and would never leave. But one day I got a hold of a book series that told me of a verse in the Bible that said: "the LORD Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." From the time I read that verse for the first time and always remembered it afterward when the fear and anxiety started to creep up God had me feeling His peace, mercy, and grace like I had never felt before.
That same peace and grace I had from that day on, I feel every day of my life. I know without a single doubt that God is always with me and I will spend the rest of my eternity with him in Heaven.
