My Story
I came to Jesus at a young age, when I was eating at a bar and grill with my parents. I saw the sin in the world and realized as a youngster I was apart of that world, therefore a sinner. So I prayed for Jesus to change my heart, to pay for my sins, and to grant me eternal life. I continue to this day to pray that I may become more like Jesus everyday.
I believe in Jesus because he can change the worst kind of people (like myself) for the better.
I had just gotten home from the gym after working out with a friend and had taken a supplement of pre-workout. As a result, my heart starting beating really fast and I was worried I might die in my sleep from my heart beating too fast. It might sound crazy, but I prayed to God for everything to be okay. I woke up the next morning a little tired because I went to sleep really late waiting for my heartbeat to slow down, but I was otherwise fine.
I may have times of doubt like everyone does, but I believe I will be in heaven one day because I trust in Christ alone for eternal salvation, not in myself. And I love it when I am assured of my faith by other believers. It helps me be confident in my beliefs.
