My Story

I was angry and miserable; living like there was no tomorrow because I didn't care if there was.

I was dirt poor, living in the crack ghetto, addicted to cigarettes, permanently tripping on LSD, my mind clouded and twisted from pot and other drugs, jobless, and with a pregnant girlfriend. I joined the Air Force to get out of that situation, and God met me in Basic Training.

I already had the foundation, so when God said to me "You know Who I am, and you know what you need to do", I did. When I surrendered after fighting Him for three nights, I was immediately changed into a different person, free from the misery and deep anger that had held me.

I have peace and hope for tomorrow; I am now excited to see what God has in store for me.

My wife and I have been praying for years about moving to Western North Carolina. When the opportunity came, we left our jobs and home and made the move. Though things are still unsettled and uncertain, we have peace that we are in His plan and He will put us in the perfect place.

As much as I love living for Him and His Kingdom here on Earth, I have 100% assurance that I will spend eternity in Heaven with Christ; I have no reason to fear death!
