My Story

Before I received eternal life I was full of anxiety, lonliness, and insecurity.

We had been living in MI for four years and had two small children. My husband worked an hour from home, so he left the house before daylight and returned well after dark. We had no family in Michigan and I was a stay at home mom, completely burdened with raising two small kids with no break or help from extended family.

We decided to attend a small church in town and after a few visits, I finally clearly understood what Jesus did for me and asked him into my heart.

When I left that church that day, I felt a huge weight lifted from my shoulders. My situation had not changed, but I felt a peace that I never had before and comfort knowing that Jesus was with me through every day and every trial or difficulty.

Sending my older son off to Africa for the summer was difficult last year, but I felt such a peace knowing that the same God I was praying to here would be watching over him and holding him in His hand.

I know in my heart that I have eternal life. If I die today, I am confident in the knowledge that I will live forever with Him in Heaven.
