My Story Of Life Change

Before I accepted Christ and eternal life I lived in fear,guilt and emptiness. I also had fear of death and was dishonest with myself.

When I was younger I feared of death. I lived in very tough society where there was a whole lot proverty and crime. My father left me, my brothers and mother when I was 6. Didn't no much about my father just what I was told from relatives. He was a alcoholic, cheater and abused my mother. My mother worked full time, so my grand ma and brothers took care of me most of the time. I grew up confused about the whole thing.

Since I was young I always prayed everyday. My grand ma told me she named me Josue which is Joshua is Spanish from the bible. I read a little about Joshua and from that day forward I wanted to continue my growth with Christ. For some odd reason I still felt empty until I met wife who had a rough youth as well and was saved. Being married to a Christian women,it has brought me closer to Jesus Christ/God. I notice my life has not being very peaceful and only when I hear more about Christ. I wish to continue to grow and strengthen my relationship with Christ.

Now that I have received eternal life I have hope and faith in life and have no fear of death. I am honest with my family and myself. I know now that Christ paid for all of our sins when he died for us. Even though not knowing what the future brings is a little scary, I no longer need to worry because I know Christ has already died for me.

Today, I don't fear of what the future brings me. I have been completely honest towards myself and my family.

I know as I continue my journey with Christ, he will lead me to peace and happiness no matter what life brings me. I know that when I die, I will meet him at the gates of heaven with open arms.
