My Story

Before I received Jesus, I was always worried, felt like something was missing, had bad habits and had financial problems

I remember one night in particular, I was sitting alone in my living room, bills stacked up, my kids asleep in their bedroom, and I just sat there crying. I had a decent job, a roof over our heads, and people who loved me, but deep down, I felt this emptiness I couldn’t explain. I kept thinking, “There has to be more to life than just surviving.” That moment of desperation eventually led me to surrender everything to Jesus, and that's when things started to change. The weight didn't vanish overnight, but I finally had peace that didn’t depend on my circumstances.

That night, even though I already had a relationship with God, I truly surrendered and drew closer to Him. In that moment, I received the gift of eternal life in a way I had never experienced before.

Since receiving eternal life, I now have peace in my heart and no longer carry the constant weight of worry.

I remember a time after fully surrendering to God when an unexpected bill came in the mail, something that would’ve normally sent me into a full-blown panic. But instead of falling apart, I took a breath, prayed, and trusted that God would make a way. And he did. A couple of days later, someone unexpectedly blessed us with the exact amount we needed. It wasn’t just about the money, but the peace I had in the middle of it all. That’s when I knew something had truly changed in me.

I may not have all the answers, but one thing I know for sure is that because I’ve placed my trust in Jesus, I have eternal life, and when I take my last breath here, I’ll open my eyes in heaven with Him. That’s a peace nothing in this world can take from me.
