My Story

I love my life with Jesus because there is power to change my destiny to fulfill the call He has on my life.

I gave my life to Christ when I was six years old. For much of my life, I honestly wished I had a more dramatic testimony like others seemed to have. I didn’t fully realize what a blessing it was to be raised in church, learning to love and serve Jesus from a young age. But as I grew, I began to understand that this foundation was a gift—it gave me a solid place to stand when life’s storms came. Through trials, hardships, and even a cancer diagnosis, I never doubted that God had my back. It’s hard to explain exactly, but deep down, I just knew—no matter what happened, even if it wasn’t what I thought I needed, I could trust Him. I believe with all my heart that He loves me. At one point, I faced the possibility of healing from cancer. But my relationship with the Lord had become so sweet, so intimate, that I actually prayed, Lord, if being healed would somehow distance me from You, then I don’t want it yet. More than anything, He is my life, and my greatest desire is to know Him more.

Because of Jesus, I have no doubt about where I’m going when this life is over. My hope isn’t in my health, my circumstances, or even the number of days I have left—it’s in Him. I know that when my time on this earth is done, I will be with my Savior in heaven, fully healed and whole. Not because of anything I’ve done, but because of His sacrifice on the cross, His resurrection, His grace and His promise of eternal life. That assurance gives me peace, no matter what I face, because I belong to Him—now and forever.
