My story
Growing up I have always been around the Lord and have been called to share His word. However, until the summer after graduation I denied my call in pursuit of selfish ambition. Looking back I realize I loved the world instead of loving the Lord above all else. After a long summer of denial and not being right with the God, conviction overcame me and I gave in to Gods will. Unbeknownst to me, with this acceptance, God led me to the place that would prepare me for His plan. By the next summer, I had found my place in the body of the church and am now actively pursuing my call.
Life has a lot of stressful moments and the stress of tomorrow can be overwhelming, but the peace of God’s love overshadows all else.
As I grew up I knew I was called to some form of ministry yet I denied it in pursuit of selfish ambition. This left my life feeling incomplete until I accepted God’s plan. With God for me and my new mission intact, I find a lot of peace and comfort knowing that the plan I follow is planned out to the most minute detail.
The same way I know that God has a perfect plan for me, I know that when I get to heaven my Lord and savior has already paid the price for my admission. This peace in life extends to the afterlife too.
