My story as a Christian
I trusted Christ as a young boy, after hearing and believing the scriptures from the Roman road of salvation. Some years later I learned about His Lordship in my life. Assurance of salvation came in my college years after reading 1 John 5:11-15. As a husband and father I needed to be reminded that my salvation was 100% grace. Now as an older Christian man I know that I have been blessed to bless others.
Having the assurance of eternal life promised in the Bible has give me the greatest comfort and joy that I have ever known.
I saw a magazine cover that had a bottle of water labeled 100% Grace. That one picture helped me know that God had saved me from myself and my sin. The fear of being lost was gone.
I have trusted Christ with my life as savior and Lord. My confidence rests with Him. Where He is I will be some day. Praise the LORD for His grace.
