My Spiritual Journey

My Spiritual Journey by Leony Arzagon I was born to a simple family in San Benito, Victoria, Laguna. At the age of 11, I remember one American missionary sharing the Gospel of John 3:16. That afternoon I realized I was a sinner and needed forgiveness. I accepted Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. Ever since I asked Jesus to take control of my life, my eyes have been opened and I recognize His presence everywhere. At an early age, I attended regular Bible Study. I started to join a small fellowship in Jubileeville Evangelical Church of Bay, Inc. (JEC) in Laguna Philippines and underwent water baptism on March 11, 1990. I then served as Youth Secretary, Treasurer, and Bible Study Assistant in JEC. After some time, I went to Hong Kong to work as a domestic helper. In Hong Kong, I attended Kowloon Filipino Baptist Church. I was a member of the church choir and also served as volunteer worker in Tuen Mun Filipino Baptist Chapel Hk When I moved to Italy, I first attended Rome Baptist Church where I was also a choir member. In 2016, God used me as instrument in pioneering Cisterna First Baptist Church, a Southern Baptist church in Latina and member of Global Mission Division_Luzon Convention of Southern Baptist Churches A verse that has always spoken to me about growing in faith is 2 Peter 3:18. Whenever I joined Bible trainings in the Philippines, Hong Kong and now Italy, God would always speak to me a call to mission. Since then, God equips me to carry out the Great Commission.

He sends people to encourage me despite the trials I am experiencing to fulfill His plan in my life

I know without a doubt that God is always with me and I will spent eternity with him in Heaven
