My Salvation Testimony

Before I received eternal life I was afraid of dying. I am unsure where will I be heading in the afterlife. I was self-centered always thinking the future for myself. I was in a bondage of sin.

I don't know God who He really is before. It was just an out of need that I look upon God. I just need His favor so that i can pass the board exam (EE). And a Christian friend of mine gives me verses of encouragement because I was so anxious at that time. He invited me and both attended in a young fellowship ministry and Sunday service. There came a point in my life that I realized that I need more of my salvation than passing the board. From there on by the grace of God I am a growing believer of Jesus Christ. Also as a bonus I passed the board.

It was in a Sunday service that the gospel is shared. It was the time that I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ and found so much assurance and peace in my heart.

Now that I received eternal life there is no longer fear of death. I have now the assurance to live in the afterlife in heaven through Jesus Christ. I am now living not for myself but for Jesus Christ.

When i was admitted for 2 weeks in hospital due to dengue, there is no anxiousness or fear of what will happen in the future.

If I die right now, the only thing I will have is Jesus Christ. He will be my advocate when I will be at the judgment throne of God.
