My redemption

Before I received Jesus Christ I was afraid of dying, been suffering from the bondage of witchcraft and was feeling lonely too- very scared all the time

I remember I used to glimpse at the sky seated and thinking, "how will I get to heaven and enjoy with the Lord if I have no Christ in me!?"

Then one Sunday morning, a big voice woke me up and told me to go to town. As I was walking I felt like someone was holding my hand though I couldn't see Him. My eyes were opened and I realized I was seated in church and pastor was preaching. The gospel touched my heart and I confessed Christ as my Lord and Savior and immediately became joyful in my heart that felt like Church is home.

Now I have eternal life in Christ Jesus, I nolonger fear death, I am joyful all the time and people ask me why I am always smiling, I don't worry about tomorrow because I know God is with me and for me.

One day at high school we were from breaking our prayer fast as Scripture Union and then went to our dormitories to sleep because the rain was already drizzling. It rained for 33minutes with great wind blowing the roof of one of the classrooms and lightning striking the iron sheet on the dormitory where I was sleeping. Those who used to dodge prayers and focused on worldly pleasures fell down asking Jesus for forgiveness while others rolling in the floor but for me who was just from breaking my fast, I had joy in my heart and I was ready for heaven. I thought it was the end of the world or the rapture, I was really happy while others were crying and repenting.

Jesus Christ is the resurrection and life and whoever believes in Him have eternal life. So if I am to die now I will be in heaven because I have Him in my life.
