My Personal Walk

Eternal life gave me inner peace in situations where I felt very uneasy or uncomfortable I look to God and I always feel that love and power from him.

I remember right after highschool I would go to these house parties, I went to like 3 of them and it’s people drinking underage and I’m sitting there wondering like this isn’t the life I want to be living or God called me to do. On the third party I went to I sat and thought about it and for me I had this sense of guilt in my heart that I don’t ever want to feel. So everytime I got asked by my friends to go to a party, I told them I don’t want to go to parties anymore and they said why not it’s so much fun. I responded to them it’s not the life I want to live, I thought it was boring and unholy to God and after that conversation I felt very happy and at peace and fulfilled that I stuck up for myself and did something about the situations I was in.

Everyday I wake up I feel very at peace no matter what situation I’m in I feel God with me in my heart. I know that I can be the light for other people and talk with others about Jesus and instead of looking down at others that they don’t have a nice house or they don’t have a stable life that I can talk to those people and help them instead of thinking of them like I’m better because no one is perfect and we all have struggles in life. Gives me great confidence to help people out in life and have a purpose.
