My Personal Testimony
I was really afraid of going to hell until I heard that no works can guarantee me an in, but only Jesus could do that, so I gave my life to Him and now I know without a shadow of a doubt that when I die, I'm going to heaven.
Before I received eternal life I was really afraid of dying because I thought I was gonna go to hell and I didn't want that.
I would be really anxious about things that we normally take for granted like crossing the road or getting into a car. I just didn't want to die and go to hell.
When I was at university I was invited to church and when I got there I heard the preaching like I'd never heard it before. I heard that going to heaven had everything to do with what Jesus had done and nothing to do with what I had done or would still do. The more I thought about it, it just made sense to me. It was a no-brainer. I couldn't wait for Sunday so I can go give my life to God and guarantee myself a spot in heaven.
Now I'm not anxious about dying anymore.
I don't stress about crossing the road or getting into a car now. In fact I can't even remember the last time I stressed about hell.
I now know that even if something happens to me right now, I'll be in heaven the very next moment. Not only that but I now have a relationship with God and He takes care of all my other needs.
