My Personal Testimony
A Transformed Life
Before I totally committed my life to Christ to received eternal life, I was living a life of sin, doing my own thing, partying, addicted to drugs, living in a world of discontentment, stressed, bitter with resentment, empty with no purpose and lonely. I grew up in church and was raised in a Christian home. My mom took me to church every Sunday along with my other siblings and we read the Bible constantly. But I didn't have a relationship with God. My father was away working all week. Upon completing school, I went into the military. That is when I started doing everything I was big enough to do. I allowed Satan to really take control of me.
I remember my drug pusher started getting addicted and the Holy Spirit had me look at him clearly and I was frightened of his appearance and God spoke to me and said, "This is what you are becoming." I went home in Manhattan and went "Cold Turkey." (In other words, I fought within myself not to take anymore drugs.) From that moment, I started surrendering to the Holy Spirit. Shortly afterward, I met an Evangelist, and She invited me to the Church her father was the pastor of in Brooklyn, NY. It was there that I completely dedicated my life to God with that assurance of Heaven with a sense of fulfillment of God's Unconditional Love in my life. What a joy it has been serving God. My life has changed tremendously since I accepted God as my personal Savior. I know I will spend eternity with God.
The Pastor shared with me on how I could receive eternal life.
Now that I have eternal life, I no longer fear dying and going to hell.
I was driving my automobile and another car lost control, jumped the median and hit me broadside and my car went into a tailspin. I lost control of my car and had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital, but I didn't worry. I had a peace within me, a Peace that passes all understanding.
The full life that Jesus offers last forever. If I were to die tonight, I know for certain that I would be with our Father in Heaven.
