My Personal Testimony

Having eternal life gives me assurance to know that God is ALWAYS with me and I am forgiven for every sin I commit. Also I have assurance to know that I have a purpose in life with peace, happiness, and love for everyone.

In freshman year of high school, on December 9 of 2014, I had cardiac arrest that led to more than 30 minutes of CPR. Many people were trying to give me air, they wouldn't give up until I made it to the hospital, and the doctor started to give me CPR. The doctor didn't give up on me, he kept trying and trying, but I still couldn't get air. That was until the doctor said "wake up", and that was the moment just like when Jesus said to the dead little girl in Mark 5:41, "Talitha Koum" and the little girl woke up and started to walk around like nothing had happened. I was alive and breathing after the doctor had said "wake up", and I believe that that was Jesus talking through the doctor to me. Due to me being in CPR for more than 30 minutes, there was a huge possibility of me having brain damaged, but because of the power of prayer all around the world, from people in San Jose, to Manteca, to different states in America, and to the Philippines, I went home five days after my incident completely healthy, without brain damage. I was called to have a heart disease called Long QT syndrome, and I have a pacemaker inside of me, that will help me if my heart ever misses a beat. This was a horrible and tragic incident to some people, but to me, it was a life changing moment.

God has been with me through it ALL when I was younger, even when I didn't seek him. I accepted Jesus Christ into my heart at the age of twelve, but even though I wasn't a total Christ follower after I had Jesus accepted, God still saved me, and he is still saving me to this day. I now TOTALLY believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins. I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God. He is my saving grace, he SAVED me, and I know without a doubt that I have eternal life, happiness, and love through him.
