My Personal Testimony

Before I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior I suffered from feelings of emptiness. I woke up every morning and went to bed every night thinking that something was missing.

Eventually those feelings of emptiness developed into feelings of depression. I remember working a job that I hated, because it was prestigious and made me a lot of money, but asking myself... how am I going to live the rest of my life like this?

Then I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior, and received eternal life, along with the knowledge that God has a plan and a purpose for me.

I no longer struggle with feelings of emptiness or depression. Instead I wake up every morning and go to bed every night with an incredible sense of peace.

I've since found a new job and am pursuing a new career that helps me fulfill God's purpose for me. Even though it isn't glamorous and money can be tight, I know that every moment is part of God's plan. I no longer am a slave to materialistic greed, but instead I am focused on the love of Christ and all-powerful glory of God.

No matter what my future consists of I know that God will give me the strength to keep going on. And that I will find comfort and hope in the fact that I will be spending eternity with Him in heaven.
