My Personal Testimony

I am so grateful that I have been given eternal life because the LORD's love for me is unconditional and never-ending, I could never earn it nor lose it.

When I was a student in undergrad, I was choosing men to date without considering God's plan for my life and without looking for godly men. My second year at college I met a guy who seemed perfect on the outside but he struggled with seeking his own fulfillment in life through money and drugs. Our relationship, which lasted a year, was unhealthy and ended with a protective order when he threatened me with a knife for breaking up with him.

I realized that I had made a mess trying to control my own life. Even though I had known God since I was young, I wasn't living my life the way God had planned. That was when I finally gave up trying to control my own life, and trust in God's plan for me. God showed His unconditional love for me by saving me from an unhealthy and unsafe situation that I got myself into. Everyday I seek Him and His love first in my life and I have never been more happy and fulfilled in my lifetime. "I love the Lord my God, for He heard my voice, He heard my cry for mercy. Because He turned His ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live." Psalm 116:1-2
