My personal testimony
I was spiritually bankrupt and living self-sufficiently, lonely and afraid. Accepting Jesus Christ as my personal savior, I have been gifted the Holy Spirit. Life in Christ is beautiful and peaceful. My God size hole is filled with His love and peace.
Before eternal life I was afraid of most things and was in a cold Godless house with an atheist. I wanted to express my love for God openly but was afraid of persecution.
I felt like I was in a prison of control and had little freedom.
Then I moved out and through friends learned how to develop my belief in God to a personal relationship.
Now I have a peace and God has filled the deep hole in me with love. I have a freedom in Christ to honor Him as I desire. The Holy Spirit has burned in me a deep desire to learn more and more about God.
I do not feel alone and fearful. I do not hide my faith and love, but proclaim God's goodness and love.
I know that if I were to die today that I would spend the rest of my life with God in heaven.
