My personal testimony of why my past does not define me
I have turned from my past, I have learned not to look back at it but to learn from it. I am now a better person in my own personal life and my walk with God has become my goal in life
I know without a shadow of a doubt that I am a child of God and my past does not define me.
I was pregnant with my 2nd child and the doctor knew something was wrong so he sent me to Fort Worth to see a specialist. The OB Cardiologist told me that I needed to have an abortion because my so had a defect. I told the doctor that God gave me the opportunity to carry my child and it was not fair nor right for me to second guess his choice. I told the doctor that I would carry my child to birth and if God wanted to let me keep him he will or he will take him home to be with him. My child lived for 4 wonderful scary days that I got to spend with him that I would not have gotten if I listened to the doctor.
God forgave me when I turned away from him and turned to drugs, alcohol and adultery
