My Personal Testimony

Before I accepted Christ, I did not really know that anything was missing in my life.

I was getting my PhD in physics and was newly married and anticipating the birth of our first child. I thought that my life was fine.

My wife started going to church, and I went with her only because I told her before we got engaged that I would go with her if she ever wanted to go to church. I was surprised to find out that the Bible was true and that God started to speak to me personally. I finally broke down and accepted reality and the forgiveness that Christ offers.

Now that I have God in my life, I have peace and joy that I didn't know was missing in my life. I am happy that I have God as the center of my life.

We have since been through a lot of hard times. Without going into details, the statistics of what we have gone through says that 98 percent of couples get divorced, and yet we did not even go through rough times. Because our joy is in God, we did not allow our circumstances to tear us down or apart.

Having a relationship with God and knowing that I will live forever with Him is great and brings me great joy.
