My Personal Testimony
I was trying to live my life on my terms without God. I had no peace and was in a failing relationship. When I turned my will over to God, he not only healed the relationship, but gave me eternal life.
Before I received eternal life through Jesus, I was discontent with my life. I was selfish and living life my way.
I was in a relationsionship where I was very unhappy. We tried very hard to make the relationship work, but failed miserably. Jesus was not a part of either of our lives at that time.
One night I reached out to God, and turned my relationship over to Him, essentially turning my will over to God. I confessed to God that I had sinned and needed His forgiveness. I, in turn, received eternal life.
After receiving eternal life, I had such peace in my life, not only about my relationship, but in other areas of my life as well.
My relationship changed dramatically. We became friends for a number of years. He also had a transformation in his heart and gained eternal life. Several years later our feelings changed for one another and God lead us to be married.
Jesus changed my life. He's given me peace, comfort and strength to face many trials. I know, without a doubt, that if I died today, I would go to heaven. What peace that brings me.
