My Personal Testimony

I'm so thankful I have eternal life because I am no longer afraid of the future. I have peace knowing that no matter what happens I am not forgotten and I am loved.

On Mother's Day, when I was four years old, I made a big decision about my life. After seeing how my parents lived with confidence and how they loved each other, I wanted to know more about what made them different. After I talked with them about it, I saw that I was unkind towards my family and others around me. I decided to place my trust in someone who could change my life forever. A few weeks later, I had some doubts about whether I had changed or not. Then, one night, I heard thunder outside my window. I panicked and couldn't fall back to sleep. I was also afraid that maybe I had made a mistake and that I couldn't be forgiven for the things I had done. I felt so guilty. Then I remembered how one of my friends at school told me that I was never alone without help. I realized that I did not have look down on myself for not being good enough or even be worried about things outside of my control. And I felt an overwhelming peace knowing that no matter what I am surrounded by grace every single day.

I am amazed at how my life has changed, and it is all because I know for certain that I have eternal life and that I will be in heaven with God some day.
