My Personal Testimony

Many years ago, there was a time in my life that I was overwhelmed with life problems that I could not resolve with my own abilities. I lost weeks of sleep and was in despair and deeply depressed. I finally realized that I needed a spiritual solution. Although, I was not a spiritual or religious person, I knew I was lost and had no clue what to do next with my life.

I wandered around aimlessly and was finally introduced to a pastor who gave me a bible and told me to go home and read the Book of John in the New Testament. Now I had never read the bible before. So I prayed and asked God to speak to me. When I read the Book of John, everything was made clear to me. I never had any religious training, yet God revealed to me me everything that I needed to understand. At that moment, I knew God was with me .

I prayed and asked Jesus Christ to become my Lord and Savior. In the person of Jesus Christ, God did for me what I couldn't do. Not only did I find God's grace and forgiveness, but I also learned that I could know with certainty that I would go to Heaven and have eternal life.

I hope the following scriptures will help you see how near God is to you and how much He loves us and wants to give us a more abundant life. Rev 3:20 “ Behold I stand at the door, and knock, if any man hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come in”

Matthew 7:7”Ask, and it will be given to you, search, and you will l find: knock and the door will be opened for you”

Thank you for letting me share my story with you.
