My Personal Testimony
The world situation is very troubling, but I know God will come back to set it all right again forever, and those who have eternal life, like me, will be a part of it!
I'm glad I have eternal life because even when the world situation deteriorates, I know I'll be part of it when everything is set right.
You know, over the past few years, the world seems to teeter on the brink of total chaos: political division, crime, drug epidemics, inflation, pollution, hatred, natural disasters, wars, terrorism, child abuse -- and the list goes on. If I watch the news for more than a few minutes, I can get anxious and upset. But God's promise is that one day he will come to earth and set up a perfect government -- a kingdom, if you will -- with everything in order. The result will be lasting international peace, freedom, security, prosperity, integrity, transparency, and love. Everyone who has eternal life will get to experience and participate in it! This brings me a peace that overrides any fear or anxiety.
I know for certain that I have eternal life, and because of that, I'll be with God and be a part of that perfect kingdom here on earth, AND also be with him in heaven when the time comes.
