My personal testimony

Before I accepted Jesus as my Savior, I often felt lonely and afraid I was not good enough to get into heaven. I also felt unloved, even though I lived with both my parents that loved me. I thought I was a Christian because I believed in God and knew that Jesus was his son.

When I was 15, I went to an event where they explained accepting Jesus as your personal savior. When I accepted Jesus into my heart, I received the Holy Spirt to comfort me and guide me , I had a new peace and love in my heart, and I knew that no matter what I did God loves me and will forgive me and that I had an eternal home in heaven. I also knew I would never be alone God was always with me, guiding me.

I received external life and gave God control of my life. Being human there were many times I tried to take back control, but I have learned over the years Gods timing is often not my timing, but God has given me a peace that he is in control and he loves me.

Now that I have eternal life I am not fearful of dying, I know I have a home in Heaven.

I have had many medical issues in my life that the doctors thought I would not survive, but God gave me a peace, that I would and I had no fear which is wonderful when others are telling you you are going to die. I learned only God is in charge of life and death.

I love knowing that God loves me and had prepared a place for me in heaven when it is my time to die.
