My personal testimony

Before I received eternal life, I was a thief and could not escape this life of thief by my strength. It was a great shame in my society.

I've born in a religious family which taught me to be a good person; someone who is appreciated in my community. My family was poor and we couldn't afford food. So, I tried to steal food in my neighborhood to survive. I was always ashamed if I was captured. I remember one day when I went in a small holiday with other young people. When we were celebrating, one of my friends let her bag with a bill. I saw it but tried to avoid the idea of stealing it. I couldn't and stole it finally. While going home, I cried for such a sin but couldn't repay. I was depressed.

Then, one of my friends at school told me about Jesus who can change life. So, I believed in Him and received eternal life.

Now that I received the eternal life, I no longer steal. I'm satisfied even in poverty.

After my father, who tried to support us, died. I was to be lost in robbery to survive but I tried to live in that loss. I couldn't afford my scholar fees, my younger brother and sister's and other means for our living. Our mother was unable to, I was the one to provide everything being in secondary school! To continue survive, I went on foot to work manually in an industry located at 15 km during my holiday period. Whatever I received as salary was to keep us to school and to make us survive. I'm now confident in Christ for all our surviving.

Better yet, the full life that Jesus offers longs forever. I know for sure that if I am to die, I'm going to live with Jesus in heaven.
