My Personal Testimony

Before I received eternal life my life was full anger, violence, and despair.

I remember having thoughts of suicide, and homicide I just wanted to ended all. I was desperate.

Then on Saturday August 18, 1984 my wife suggested we go to a church that one of her co-worker (who was not saved) recommended. I said "NO"!! not going. The next morning, my wife asked me again, and I reluctantly said, "I guess, Ill go. It was there where the message of salvation in Jesus Christ was preached, and I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Sunday, August 19 1984.

Now that I have eternal life I know that I have a place in heaven for eternity.

In September of 2018, At the recommendation of my doctor who suspected I had a case of pneumonia scheduled me for a full CT scan at which time, yes I had pneumonia, and a tumor in my pancreas. Then in the early hours of a cold winter day in January 13, 2019, as Helene was holding my hand while I was being prep for a 6 hour surgery, I remember talking to God and saying " Lord thank you for saving me , and if this is the day I go to be with you, Please take care Helene.

It is with full confident that I can say, that Jesus took my place on the cross and paid for all my past, present, and future sins. He paid it ALL. He died in my place and when I die, I know I will be in His presence for ever.
