My Personal Testimony

Before I received eternal life my life was heading in the wrong direction of a happy fulfilled life.

I felt that my life needed to be filled with busy work just to stay sane. What I needed to do I wouldn't do, and what I did do just made me tired and angry.

Just to be a "good" family man I made a commitment to my wife and family that I would begin to attend a church...of my own choosing. After a time in the church, attending regularly, and serving on the cleaning crew, I began to hear a message about eternal life and I was drawn to the message.

After receiving eternal life I was introduced to the Word of God. Something that I had never experienced before.

I won't tell you it was an easy process for me. Looking back, I see that Satan really had a hold on me and kept me back from discovering the peace and joy that comes by reading and studying the Word of God.

The promise that Jesus gave to me from the moment I accepted Jesus into my life, that he would show me the way to peace and joy, not fear and condemnation, has brought me comfort and security. I am a child of God and he will never leave me nor forsake me all the days of my life. Jesus is building me a place in heaven where I will spend eternity with Him and all the saints.
