My Personal Testimony

I'm glad I have eternal life because of the confidence and strength I have been given through my relationship with Jesus Christ.

I was baptized and received the Holy Spirit when I was 5 years old. Church is all I have ever known. My testimony is not what God has delivered me from, but what God has kept me from. All throughout life's ups and downs I have felt the presence of God lift me up, strengthen me, and give me peace. Through my parents divorce and family tragedy I was strengthened daily by the love, grace, and mercy that Jesus showed to me. When I was lonely I would pray and feel God's presence. When I was depressed I would pray and joy would come. If anyone is skeptical about whether or not God exists, I am a living witness that God is real and does want to have a relationship with His creation. I have never felt abandoned or left disappointed by Jesus. No matter what I face I know that I will be okay because Jesus is fighting for me.

The peace that God has given me throughout the struggles of my life is even greater because I know that by the grace of God I will spend eternity with Him in heaven.
