My personal testimony
Assurance of Eternal life gives me internal peace, lasting joy & contentment even in difficult circumstances.
I'm glad i have eternal life because i have assurance of my destiny after earth. Eternal life here on earth also gives me the assurance that God loves me unconditionally, gives me lasting joy, inner peace, contentment, sense of fulfilment and God's guidance in all areas of my life.
At some point i used to drink alcohol, not much though. But i have since stopped drinking alcohol altogether because it's something that i strongly do not want to do anymore. Even when i am invited to parties or gatherings, i unashamedly decline to drink even when sometimes people make fun of it. There are many instances where God has protected me from harm & i knew that it was Him that saved me.
The same peace i have everyday even in difficult situations or moments in my life is the same peace & joy i have knowing that i will spend eternity in heaven.
