My Personal Testimony

I have great comfort, hope, and joy because I have eternal life through Christ Jesus! I confessed and believed Jesus was my Lord and Savior and was baptized at age 13. I have believed in God my whole life. I grew up in a God loving and fearing home. My father was a preacher and my mother was a Christian school administrator. I saw my grandparents and parents reading the Bible and praying daily. The faith and prayers of my grandparents, parents, and older brothers certainly paved the way for my spiritual walk today.

Praise to God that my story of faith has been a story of continuous blessings through a relationship with God. In my early to mid 20s, I experienced great loss and hurt. However, God showed me great love, comfort, peace, and hope. It was in those years that I feel like my relationship in Christ deepened exponentially. And through all the seasons of my life God continues to shower me with His great gifts and grow our relationship.

Day by day, I see God at work in my life. He brought my loving and caring husband Aaron into my life. He led me to New York City and to the Journey church where I found a great passion in family ministry. He continues to guide me through His Word and His Spirit. God’s Will for my life is my ultimate hope, and I will daily strive to follow His, not my, Will. I know I will live with Him in eternity some day! God has blessed me beyond and above what I deserve, and I will forever be grateful.
